PRINCE OF THE BLOOD LIKELY TO BE APPOINTED.

The London Daily Express tays that after his proposed visit to South Africa the Duke of Connaugnt is likely to succeed Earl Grey as Canadian Governor-General, in accordance with the late King Edward's particular wish. The appointment will -be the first time a Prince of the Blood Royal has become Governor of one of the Overseas Dominions, and it will form a new link in a powerful chain, binding the Colonies closer to the Motherland.
