WEATHER FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON. May 9. The Rev. D. C. Bate* this afternoon issued the following weather •summary and forecast: — The barometer has fallen everywhere, and especially north of East •Cape and Kawhia, where neavy rain and easterly gales have been experienced. Wet and gloomy weather has Jlteo been reported in many other parts, with variable winds. Present indications are for a fur/ther fall in the barometer every- */ wnere, with rain in most parts of the country, and especially in the East Coast. Strong easterly winds are probable in the north, and southeasterly elsewhere, but freshening nortberlies may be expected shortly in the South, for'a westerly area of low isjdue on Wednesday.
