BOOKS TO BE EXAMINED. By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, ilay 3. The Auckland Stock Exchange has passed a resolution appointing a committee, with power to appoint a solicitor, and examine the transfer books of the Waihi Goldmining Company, and ascertain who disposed of shares during the past three months; also, to write asking the attorney of the company if he can give any explanation of the sudden drop in the shares.
