HENDERSON CUP CHAMPIONSHIP.

WON BY CARLTON,

The Henderson Cup tie match between the Carlton and Carterton Clubs was onnluded at Cartel ton yesterday, and resulted in a win ioi Carlton by 192 runs. Carterton with 192 runs to win, continued their second innings. Maunsell and Hart, the two not out men, went to the wickets, Maunsell facing Styles. With the first ball Styles clean bowled Maunsell with a beautiful ball. The rest or the Carterton batsmen did not put in an appearance, the match thus ending in favour of Carlton. The Carlton Club are to be congratulated on the result, and they have played consistently throughout the season, and of seven matches played they have won six and lost one.
