HOCKEY.
LAUIES' ANNUAL MEETING. AND FIXTURES. The annual meeting of the Wairarapa Ladies' HocKcy Association was held at Carterton last evening. Mr J. B. Hue presided over a large attendance, comprising delegatea from the Kamblers, Biwh School and Huia (Masterton), Kia 'IVa (Greytown). Hinsmoa (Cartt-r----um), and Kiwi (Dalefied) clubs. The annual report and balance sheet- the latter showing a credit balance of over £7—were adopted, and several present spoke of the sucessful season la«t year and of the progress ladies hockey had made in the Wairarapa. The efficers for the coming season were elected as follow:—Patron, Mr A. C. Major; President, Mr W. C. Buchanan, M.P.; Vice-Presidents, Messrs J. Macara, J. B. Rue, W. H. Jackson, W. Barton, W. Moore, R. G. Welsh,' and Dr. Bey; Secretary, Mr Rupert Hatch; Treasurer, Mr J. B. Rue, It was decided that the matches for the "Age" Cup should commence on May 12th. The following fixtures were drawn up:—May 12th: Kia Taa v. Ramblers, at Grey town; Carterton v. Huia at IV3asterton; Kiwi v. High School at Dalefield. May 19th: Kia Toa v. Huia at Masterton; Kiwi v. Ramblers at Masterton, Carterton v. High School at Masterton. May 26th: Kia Toa v. Carterton at Greytown; Kiwi v. Huia st Dalefield; Ramblers v. High School at Masterton. June 9th.—Kia Toa v. Kiwi /at Greytown; High School v. Huia at Masterton; Ramblers v. Carterton at CarUrtmt. Jme IGth. Kia Toa v. High School at Greytown; Kiwi v. Carterton at 1 Dalefield; Huia v. Ramblers at Mastsrton.
NEW ZEALAND LADIES' ASSOCIATION.

At the meeting of the New Zealand Ladies' Hockey Association to-night it was decided that in lieu of the annual tournament a New Zealand Championship be decided by means ot a challenge cup, to be placed for under the conditions governing the New Zerland Hockey Association's Challenge Shield. This will not apply to the present year.
A motion transferring the headquarters of the Association from Christchurch to Wellington was carried without dissent.
The following officers were elected: —Patroness, Lady Dickson-Poynder; President, Mrs Russell Grace; Secretary, Miss W. Mellsop; Treasurer, Miss L. Macintosh; Management Committee, Misses Kelling, Mackellar, E. Fleet, Shirtcliife, Willberg, M. Wilfon and Roberts. It was decided that the annual tournament D 9 held in Nelson this year.
