As the result of divorce proceedings an Englishwoman, named Mrs Hawkes, secured the custody of her two children in England in 1904. From the date of the trial the husband and children disappeared, and the mother remained in ignorance of their whereabouts until a few weeks ago, when she learned that they were in West Australia.
