tV'r Leonard Nicol, who has been on a tourof America and England, returned by the s s. Athenic yesterday. He was met on arrival at the Masterton railway station last night *by a number of friends. AUCTIONEERS' MEMORANDAMessrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd.,add eight lines of sheep to their Masterton stock sale. Messrs Dalgety and Co.. Ltd., in addition to a long list of sheep and •cattle, will Eubmit three draught liorses and half a dozen useful dogs. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Affptncy Co., Ltd. make further additions to their sale list for -20 th. Attention is called to the sale at Bowlands on Thursday. Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., have been instructed by the purchasers of Bnw--lands estate to sell the stock on the consisting of Romney sheep by well-known breeders, -working bullocks and waggon, Wolseley shearing machines and Horns by oil engine, carts, presses, scales, posts, oaten sheaf; also, household furniture and effects. If sufficient -inducement offers a brake will run nut to the sale, particulars of which .can be supplied by Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd. Luncheon will be provided. Outside entries in sheep, cattle and horses are advertised. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., advertise opening entries fur their next horse sale which is announced to be held on Saturday, April 33th, at their Waipoua yards.
