THE GOVERNOR'S VISIT TO THE WAIRARAPA.
The Mayor has received a letter pqr medium of the Town Clerk from the Governor's private secretary, stating that his Excellency will visit Masterton on tha 20th ilist, tie will arrive at 11.38 a.m;, and will depart for the North at 5.45 p.m. It is understood that the Governor is prepared to/be publicly received, and it is, therefore,, proposed to extend a suitable reception to him in the Town Hall. The members of the different local bodies, and other prominent citizens-, will be present. . Members of the Masterton Mounted Rifles, and of the School Cadets, will form a guard of honour. During bis brief stay the Governor will visit the schools, and will be shown placea'of public interest.
