STRUCK OFF THE ROLL.
" By Telegraph —Press Association, WELLINGTuN, April 14. On the application of the Wellir-g----ton Law Society to-day, Richard Williamson' Hall was struck off the roil of solicitors of the Supreme 'Jourf. Haii had been found guilty of thcU of the sum of £l7, which had 1 been given to him by a client in payment of the balance of judgment. Mr Gray appeared for the Law Society, and Mr H. Brown for.Hall. It was explained that Hall had made temporary use of the money, and that when the' chaige w<?s made the money was refunded by himself vr his friends.
The Chief Justice sari there was no alternative. Haii would have to be struck uff tha roll, and at. the end of two years, if he conducted" himself well, m the interval, he
could apply for reinstatement,,' Permission was-also,given by the court for Hall to\be, employed as a clerk by another solicitor/ An order was made for payment ot £ls 15s costs by.Hall.
