By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 12. The following is the Rev. D. C* •Bates' sumn.ary and forecast: — Barometric pressure has continued low and very unsteady. There has been little movement in the Far North, but westerly low pressure iiaa controlled the weather conditions elsewhere. Westerly winds strong to gale have prevailed ami rain has fallen in most parts southwurd of Kiwhia and Castlepoint. Present indications are for cloudy and unsettled weather generally, with rain in most parts of the country, and show on higher level?. Strong southerly windsj will probably prevail. The barometer will probably fall again slightly in the South before definitely rising.
