Four million pounds' worth of fresh j Treasury bills, making the floating debt £35,200,000, have been issued j since the end of October. The inter-! est amounts to £20,000 weekly. The J average borrowing last month was four million weekly. Analysing the whole position, ahd.j including taxation in abeyance, the 5 ; "Spectator" estimates that this ' year's revenue will total £162,000,- J 000 and the expenditure £175,000, • i 000.
