1 PICTURES. | The general excellence lii the cur- . rent programme was, no doubt, responsible for the large attendance at I the Foresters' Hall last evening. The | splendid series of pictures presented j were of such a varied character that each and all could not fail to find ! something instructive, as well as j amusing. The dranatic story of the J famous sculptor, Eeneveato Cellini, and his model, the Duchess de E'Tampies, was received in a manner most enthusiastic. "A Cheap Entertainment" provided plenty of funny situations that fully achieved their object, and caused the heartiest , of laughter. "The Mimic Battle at Whale Island" shows how our sailors are trained for land fighting. aniTthtr methods employed in transporting heavy guns to difficult positions. "Bobby on the Spree" was extremely funny, and Bobby showed no compunction in using his highly respected father's card to secure him a good evenings fun. To-night the programme wiil be shown for the last time, a complete change to appear on Monday.
