United Press Association—By hlectric Telegraph Copyright * -: Received April 7, 9.40 a.m. NEW YORK, April 6. the United States railways have reduced the grain freights from Fort William, Ontario, to the sea, with the object of capturing the Canadian grain trade. The Grand Trunk Railway has a'lsj reduced its rates, and will now ask that the Great Lakes' freights arid Atlantic freights be similarly reduced in order that the Canadian rate from Fort William to Liverpool shall equal the American.
