SWIMMING CLUB SOCIAL.
DRILL HALL, TO-NIGHT. This evening the annual social of the Wairarapa Amateur Swimming Club will take place in the Drill w" Hall, and it is anticipated that the affair will prove most successful. The management committee of the Club has spared neither trouble nor expense in ensuring the enjoyment of the large gathering which there is every reason to believe will be present. Last evening a working be was busily engaged for several hours in preparing the floor, and the result of their assiduity is that a splendid dancing surface has been y obtained. The orchestral music, including Mr Reihana Boyes, will be attraction to many, no doubt. The supper and refreshment appointments will be on an up-to date scale, and will be in the capable hands of Mr J. S. Alpass and staff. The club trophies won during the season will be presented to those entitled to them, Mr D. Caselberg, Patron of the Club, having promised , to make the presentations. Altogether an enjoyable evening is promised.
