HOCKEY.
MASTERTON CLUB. A meeting of the Masterton Hockey Club was held last evening, mthe Y.M u.A. rooms, Mr G. H. Cullen in the chair. The officers elected for the year were.•--Patron, J. M. Coradine; President, A. C Major; Vice-Presidents, Messrs D. Walsh, D. K. Logan, 0. N. C. Pragnell and W. H. L. Galwey: Capiain, W. Minett; Vice-Captain, A. Thompson; Selection Committee, Captain, ViceTCaptain and A. Ibbetson; Management Committee, Captain, ViceCaptain, Ibbetson, Secretary, H. M, Gordon and W. Redmond. T. O'Dowd was elected Secretary and Treasurer. The following members in addition to abuve were elected: —A. J. Parton, P. Mcßarron, J. Fuller, J. Tait, W. Newton, Esson, La Roche, De Lisle, C. A. Hendry. The subscription was tixed at 5s annually It was decided to arrange a match with St. Matthew's for Saturday. The colours of the Club are to be black jersey and pants. It was decided to affiliate with the Wairarapa Hockey Association.
The Post and Telegraph team to play the Knox team, at Lansdowne, to-morrow afternoon, will be as follows:—Goal, T. Miller; backs, N. Williams, E. Clarke; halves, M. Mcintosh, L. Barker, B. Livingstone: forwards,V. Richards, C. Moltzen, D Loader, J. Berry and E. H. Fisher. Emergencies, T". Hatiley, A. Eddy and A. Cowper. The St. Matthew's Hockey Club members will also hold a practice at Lansdowne to morrow. The Excelsior teams (senior and jjrior) will meet on th« Showgrounds ft-r practice to-morrow.
