UNIDENTIFIED. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, April 2. An inquest was opened to-day on a man at present unidentified, whose body was found partially imbedded in the sand in the Waimakariri riverbd, about seven rr.iles from Yaldhurst. The body was found lying on a bank, about twenty yards from the channel, and had evidently been brought down by a fresh in the river, and appeared to have been about six weeks dead The coroner ordered a thorough post mortem examination in order to see if there were any marks on it that might lead to identification.
