MURDERER ARRESTED AND CONFESSES. 1 PARIS, April 1. In connection with the murder of M. Charlois, an astronomer, at Montgras, near Nice, Bregus, a highlyrjspecteii doctor of Nimes, has confessed thai he is the murderer. Charlois was his brother-in-law. There was no clue until the police found threatening letters in Charlois' psj.e s relating to litigation over his daad wife's property. Enquiries have Droved that Bregus left Nimes on Saturday morning and reached Nfce at eleven o'clock at night arriving at Nimes, on his return, early on Sunday.
