iMR ROOSEVELT'S REuENT REMARKS. . CAIRO, March 25. Egyptian natonalist newspapers are attacking Mr Roosevelt, exFresident of the United States, on account of his warm prane of British rule in the Soudan. Apprehension is felt that he will be given a hostile reception in Cairo if he repeats his eulogies when addressing the Egyptian University on Monday next. The police have oifered Mr Roosevelt their protection. (Mr Roosevelt, who has been on a hunting tour in Africa, while in Khartoum addressed the students at the Gordon College. He was impressed, he said, with the wonderful results of British rule, particularly the palatial houses and gardens in Khartoum.)
