i ! ' Fiom Our Own Correspondent. TENUI, March 25. 1 On the 22nd inst. Mesar3 A. P. Whatman, President of the Wairarapa Boxing Association, R. Morrison, Vice-President, and W. Saville Smith, secretary, journeyed to Tenui with the object of forming a . branch here. The evening was wet, I but that did not seem to affect the | attendance, as quite a number of ' boxing enthusiasts were present. ' Meesrs Malony and McDougall, instructor to the Masterton branch, were present, and gave an interesting exhibition of boing, skipping and wrestling holds. M* Whatman, I undrestand, intends to pay Tenui another visit shortly, with a team of boxers. Dr Dawson, of Rarotonga, arrived in Tenui to-day, on a holiday trip.
