Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Pahiatua sale as follows: —We submitted a very full yarding of sheep, comprising over 6,000, and a good entry of cattle, to an unusually large,attendance of buyers. Bidding, for both sheep and cattle was on tha whole brisk throughout, and we succeeded in quitting' practically the whole of our entry at prices in favour of vendors. We quote-—Two-tooth wethers, lis 9J to 12s Id; 2 tooth ewes, small Is 3d to 10s 9d; mixed aeed ewes, lis to lis 7d; medium aged ewes" 8s to 9s 3d; sound mouth ewes, medium 7s 3d to 7s 9d; poor 5s 6d to, 6s 9d; old ewes, 2s 5d to 4s 6d; small w thers 7s 9d to 9s 9d; good woolly hmbs, 8a 9d; shorn wether lambs, 6s 9d* small lambs, 4s 4d to 5s 6d«; cull lambs, Is 7d to 3s 6d; 2-tooth Eomney rams bred by Bidwill, 4gns to 4Jgns; aged rams. 10s to Iguinea; 18 months steers, £3 2s 6d to £4; yearling steers, 32s to £2; good mixed weaners, 28s to 335; Jersey weaner heifers, °£2 15s; springing cows, £3 Is; fat cows, £5 2s.
