CALCUTTA, March 22.

Mr Couaens, Superintendent of Archeaology. Bombay, explored the mojnds ror rorty miles east of Haidarabad, containing the Buddhist monasteries, and excavated a shrine lound in a crystal bottle, containing a silver casket, enclosing a golden cylinder, wherein were a gold cup with fragments of human ash, evidently one of the nine portiors of Gautama's cremated remains.
