MASTERTON GOLD DREDGING CO., LTD.
The annual report of the above Company, which will be presented to the general meeting of sharenolders on the 31st inst., is as follows:—"The Directors have much pleasure in submitting the annual report and the statement of accounts for the year ended 31st January, 1910. The amount of gold won during the year was i,6450zs Sdwts sgrs, yielding £6,484 6s lid, and the dividends declared amounted to £3,500, or 14s per share, making, with the £5 per share declared prior to 31st January, 1909, a total of £5 14s per share, or £28,500. The first retrun from the dredge was on the 15th September, 1904 and the total value of the gold won to 31st January, 1910, is over £47,000; the returns since operations commenced have averaged 44ozs per week. The amount of unexpended capital. £4OO, still remains on fixed deposit with the National Bank of New Zealand, Ltd. In accordance with the Articles of Association, Mr William Hessey retires from office, also Mr James Brown, the auditor, I both being eligible offer themselves far re election."
