There was heavy wind all day. The principal events fired were the Champion Teams Match, the first stage of the Empire Match and the Gordon Highlanders' Trophy, The United Service Match was not completed.
On account of the steady downpour all the afternoon the scores are no v criterion of the marksmen. p New Zealand won the Gordon , Highlanders' trophy by seven hits j j to four, and at the close of the Empire Match in the first stage New j jZealand are leading by twenty-one j points. The ties will be fired to-morrow.
