MONSOONAL HAILSTORM.
MOST EXTENSIVE ON RECORD. Received March 8, 10 a.m. SYDNEY, March 8. During the last few days a monsdonal rainstorm has been operating over Australia. It is one of the most extensive on record. Three stations in South Australia recorded five inches, one in Victoria, over five inches, fifteen in Queensland over an inch, and one nearly seven inches.
