SERVICE SHOOTING COMPLETED. McINTOSH, UF OPAKI, WINS THE SNAP SHOOTING. , By Telegraph—Press Association. TRENTHAM, March 8. The weather was perfect for the shooting at Trentham. The day was devoted to service shooting, the whole of the series being completed. The shooting was good, and a large percentage of the competitors got over 60 per cent of hits. The COVER MATCH 300 yards, ten shots, resulted:- • Joplin, £5. Caldwell, Karori; Campbell, Murihakau; Field, Ngatawau; Aston, Karori, each £3. The SNAP SHOOTING MATCH,
300 yards, seven shots: — M. Mcintosh, Opaki £4 10s. i J ettie, Bruce, £4 10s. Jones, Linwood; Hyde, Opaki; W. Butler, Australia; Maher, Feilding; McGlashen, Petone; Keiler, Dunedin; Guy f Rohutu; Wright, Riversdale; Marrett, Taranaki: Bairsiow, Opaki, £1 16s.each. LOOPHOLE MATCH, 500 yards, ten-shots: — Waddington, Christchurch; Duncan. Miilerton; Nielsen, Dannevirke; Auley, Dannevirke; Cordukes, Parapaiamu, were principal prizewinners. Rapid Firing, 500 yaids, ten shots: Burns, Karori; Purnell, Wanganui; £4 10s. Wickens, Wellington; Dickson and Burson, Bruce, £3. Grover, Taranaki; Kells. Palmerston N., £2, ATTACK MATCH:Saodford, Christchurch; Muriro, Murihuku; Joplin, Wellington, each made possibles, and take £4 each.
