AMUSEMENTS.
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES
Tl-e usual charge of programme was presented at the Fomsters' Hall last night to a well filled auditorium. The new series, is well up to the mark of perfection. The star picture of the evening proved to be a highly sensaional subjact entitled "A Dash to Death." As the title implies, there were plenty of exciting incidents, quickly following upon each other. The plot is woven round an international marriage, ' which turns out unhappily. The remainder of the programme contains some fine dramatic and comic subjects, chief among which are "By the King's Command," "Plain Mane," "A Friend of the Family,' "Turning the Tables," and "The Haunted Kitchen." This series will be repeated to-night and to-morrow evening.
