MILITARY FLYING MACHINES.
PREDICTION BY SIR HiRAM MAXIM. Received March 4, 9 a.m. LONDON, March 3. Sir Hiram Maxim, the well-known inventor, addressing the Aerial League, predicted that the weight of 150 horse power engines for military Hying machines would not exceed 300 pounds.
Sir Hiram Maxim, it was recently stated, has built a biplane 44ft'long, with an 80 horse power engine, which weighs 2201b5, has a gyroscope regulator. The biplane carries a driver and two passengers.
