CORRESPONDENCE.
SUNDAY'CONCERTS'AND THu BOROUGH COUNCIL. To the Editor. Sir,—Can you tell me by what authority the Black Family of Musicians are holding their sacred concert in the Town Hall on Sunday night next? The Municipal Corporations Act clearly says that they must get permission from the Council. Now, Sir, that permission has not been got, and as the resolution on the Borough Book stands, that permission cannot be got—l am, etc., (Cr.) W. MORRIS. Masttrton, 4th March, 1910. (We understand that permission has not been applied for, which is, no doubt, an oversight on the part of the company mentioned. Cr Morris, however, seems to say that if permission were applied for it could not be granted. This is a statement that requires explanation. —Ed. W.A.)
