Sir James Pliny Whitney, Premier of Ontario, has promised to con-1 sider earnestly an influential deputation's request to take action in the Assembly to ioduce Sir Wilfrid Laurier, Premier of Canada, to add to the Naval proposals two or three Dreadnought 3° to be "provided in the first instance in order to cement the formation of a fleet of units. The deputation is similarly approaching allJProvinciai Legislatures.
