LORD KITCHENER.
AT AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 1. There was an immense gathering of the public at the Domain, this afternoon, to witness the inspection of the Cadets by Kitchener. Twenty thousand people is a moderate estimate of the attendance. There were 4,065 cadets of all ranks on parage, and they made a splendid picture formed ' up in battaliotio or marching past the saluting base. Two troops of returned South African soldiers paraded (one troop being under Captain Knyvett in the capacity of an ex-officer of Queensland Bushmen's Contingent), and the .Veterans Association.'and the resiI dent veterans of the Veterans Home were also present.
