A BOGUS DOCTOR. By Telegraph—Press Association. WAIROA, February 28 A Chinaman named James Shang Ton Sam has been arrested on a charge ot falsely describing himself as a doctor. This is the second charge in connetion with the death of a Maori girl at North Clyde in January. He is charged with so neglecting and unskilfully treating her that she died. The father and mother of the deceased are charged with aiding and abetting accused. Their premises were well stocked with Chinese msdicines, and papers, and books seized showed that the accused did a good business in various parts of New Zealand. Some of his medicines had been sent away for analysis, The accused was remanded for eight days.
