Received February 27, 5 p.m. SYDNEY, February 27. At the Whatf Labourers' Union's banquet, the Secretary said that they Would soon be fightine the employers before the Wages Board. No doubt the latter would try to take away some of the little concessions they had granted, but he thought the men would be able to sh nv rh? board they were deserving of a li' tie more consideration in the way of pay. The President congratulate the Union on the stand taken in the late trouble. As a result their position among trades unions was as food to-day as that of any other organisation in the country. He advocate! the Wages Board in preference to the Arbitration Court.
