ByjTelegraph—Special to Wairarapa Age. PALMeIRSTON N., Feb. 17.' Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report at their annual sheep fair held at Palmerston North on Thursday, the 17th inst , that they offered 12,260 sheep of various classes. There was a very large attendance, and competition for all lines was good, and continued throughout the sale. A good clearance was effected, only five small pens remaining unsold. Prices realised were as foMows:—On account of Mr A. Harding, 500 s.m. ewes, 12s 3d, 1,220 5-year ewes 10s to lis; 200 5year ewes 8s 6d. On account of Mr C. T. Keeble. 835 4 and 5 year ewes 10s 7d, 50 4-tooth ewes 13s 150 2-tooth ewes 13s. On account of Messrs Kieller Bros., 319 4 and 6tooth ewes lis lOd, 4365 4yr ewes lis lOd, 250 2-tooth ewes small 10s 6d to 9s. On account of Mr J. Linklater, 1,000 ewe lambs 7s 3d. An exceptionally nice line of 700 2-tooth

Romney ewes was offered on account of Mr E. J. Kiddiford. and 200 of them sold at 20s. Other lines of 2tooth ewes made from 12s 6d to 14s, small 2-tooth ewes 10s 4d to 10s 6d, 4-tooth ewes 13s; 4to 6-tooth ewes 12s 7d to 13s; 4 and 5 year ewes 6s 9d to Bs;4-tooth to f,f.m. ewes 10s 7d tolls; s.m. ewes 8s 6d to 9s 7d; aged ewes, 5s to 6s; cull ewes, 2s 3d to 4s 6d; forward lambs, 8s; store lambs, shorn, 5s to 7s 4d; woolly lambs, 8s 7d; cull lambs, 3s to 4s 6d.

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd. report atJohnsonville yesterday:— We had a good entry of prime sheep and cattle, and disposed of every pen at late rate's. We quote:—Medium ox, £7 12s 6d to £7 15s; lighter ox £7 5s to£7 10s; plain ox £6 ss; fat cows, £4 ss; best wethers, 13s 5d to 13s 9d; medium, wethers, 12s 2d to 13s 3d; best ewes, 12s 3d; lighter ewes, 10s 8d to lis Yd; lambs, woolly lls4d; shorn, 8s 4d, 9s id, to 9s 7d.
