Raphael, the representative of the Cricket' Council, Mr G.'. E. Richardson, an'old New South 1 Wales representative,. Mr E. B.• Vance, secretary of the Wellington Cricket Association, and members of the Management Gommitteeofthat body. Accompanying the team is Majorr J. C. Wayne, who* was the manager of the first New South Waiee-repie* sentative accredited team to .visit these shores. /1 or, who is an old identity in New South Wales; cricketing circles,.is Mr R. T. ■ Kelly, of the Waverley District Club. The visitors had hoped to be able to get in some practice to day, but through no grounds beingovailable they were debarred from so : doing. They* will be seen out on the Basin Reserve to-tnorrow morning. The team consists of Messrs W. W. Armstrong (captain), D. Smith, and T, S. Warne. of Victoria; W. Bardsley \ (vice-captain), C. Kelleway,CV E.Simpson, S. H. Emery, A. J. Hopkins, and C. K. Gorry, or New South Wales; J. K. Mayne and W. «J. Whitty, of South Australia; and N. Uodds and A. C. Facy, of Tasmania. The moat of them are on the young side,; and are said to be as "keen as mustard" after cricket; The match against. Wellington will commence on theßasin Reserve at 2 p.m. on Friday, while on Saturday and Monday a start will be made at noon. The visitors' team will probably not be announced, until the morning of the match. The team was officially welcomed by the Mayor, Dr Newman, at the Town Hall in the afternoon. In the Wellington team Laws replaces Hawthorne, who has dropped out.
