FURTHER DISCUSSED,
By Telegraph—Press Association. 1 PALMERSTON N., February 9. At a conference of delegates from the Borough Council, Chamber of Commerce and Stock Auctioneers 1 Association, to-night, it was decided that a deputation should wait on the Minister for Railways and urge that the-early morning train from Waipukurau should run through to Palmerston,. and that the early train from Masterton be resumed, and to connect with it at Woodville to bring the:stock buyers on here. The deputation wiH' include representatives from, the Chamber of Commerce, Stock Auctioneer?' Association, Wool and Skin- Buyers' Association, Re-tailers-''Association, Kairanea County Council*, and Palmerston Borough Council. It was also resolved to urge on the Minister the inadequacy of accommodation at the Palmerston station for the great increase of traffic consequent on the opening of the Main Trunk Line and the acquisition of the Manawatu line.
