WEDDING.

A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Patrick's Church on Wednesday last, the contracting parties being Mr Charles O'Brien, eldest son of Mr Chas. O'Brien, senr,, Brisbane, Queensland, and Miss Eleanor Boyle, youngest daughter of Mr Hugh BoyJe, of Fernridge. The bride, who was -given away by her father, was attired in a white silk Empire dress, and wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms. The bride wore a gold cross pendant set with sapphires, a gift from her mother, and carried a shower bouquet. She was attended by two bridesmaids, Miss Bennett and Miss Daysh, each wearing handsome gold tiepins, gifts from the groom. The former wore scream Batease muslin Empire gown and hat to match, and the latter an embroidered dress with blue silk trimming, and a pretty blue silk bonnet, also carrying shower bouquets. Mr S. T. Millar, step-brother of the bride, was best man. The marriage service was performed by the Rev. Dean McKenna. The wedding breakfast was celebrated at the residence ,of the bride's parents, where a large number of relations and friends assembled. The newly-married couple received some very useful and costly presents. , The bride's travelling dress was'a grey cloth costume and pretty white hat.
