AUCTIONEERS' MEMORANDA.
MARTINBOROUGH EWE PAIR. Elsewhere in this issue Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., advertise an entry of 5,300 ewes for the Martinborough Fair to be held on Friday, 25th inst. The entries comprise ewes from some of the leading flocks in the Lower Valley, and the quality of the stock to be offerad will be exceptionally good. The sale will present a are opportunity for farmers and others requiring good ewes to secure their requirements for the year.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., make additions to their Taratahi and Langdaie stock sales.
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., add to their Pabiatua sale store ewes and mixed lambs. Also on account of the Balfour estate 400 shorn lambs.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., make further additions to their sale list for February 9tb. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., make additions to their Masterton stock sale on the 9th inst.
Messrs Dalgety and Co. make large additions to their next Masterton sale list. To date the entries total 3,000 sheep and lambs. Some first-class lines of rape lambs will be offered and also some good lines of ewes and wethers. On account of Flat Point station to lines of tip-top Lincoln ewes will come under the hammer, one line being 700 f.m. and 6-tooth, and the other 300 four and five year old e<»es. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., have received instructions from Mr Charles Harris, of Hautotara, to sell on 3rd March, a very large number of stock, including 4.500 breeding ewes.
