GOLD RETURNS.
A FALLING OFF. By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, January 31. The gold returns for the Auckland Province for the year 1909 show, that the total value of the output is £1,312,824, a falling off of £4,594 compared with the previous year. The decrease is at the Thames, which returns £10,739 less than in 1908. The' Ohinemuri increase ia £5,298, and the Coromandel's increase £846. The Waihi mine produced £952,639.
