Ellingham. i TRANSFERS. j The following transfers were ap- | proved on th? usual, conditions, subject to a satisfactory report from the Crown Lands ranger:—Section 31, block 4, Mangahao, A. R. Molloy to Georgfc Burr; section 1, block 1, Puketoi, S. A. Diamond to J. Allen; section 6, block 11, Mount Cerberus, Akkitio improved tarm, E. Transom to E. W. Clemens; section 3, block 3, Rewa, Mrs E) White to H. 0. Bunny, (provided transfer is eligible and suitable); saction 2, block 4, Hunua, A. Millyon to R. H. Hamlet (subject to required improvements being effected and Mr Hamlet being eligible). The beard decided that it had no power to approve the application to transfer sections 10 and 11, block 1, Mangahao, from E. M. Hurley to R. H. Browne, the transferee not appearing to be eligible. The Crown Lands Ranger is to re- , port on an application by Mrs E. R. Redpath to sublet section 18, Block 1, Mangaone, to Messrs J. H. G. Duffy, and E. A. Harrington, for a term of five years. The Board approved of the issue of a timber-floating license to the Akitio Sawmilling Company, Ltd. It was decided to declare G. Hunt's interest in section 9, block 5, Hunua, void, he b*ing unable to comply with the residential conditions. Section 28, block 11, Mount Creberus, is to be offered for cash by ' public auction. Two sections at Hanua and one at Kaitleke, previously balloted for, are to be re-balloted for, the successful candidates having declined to take them up. Tenders are to be invited for a lease of sections 56 to 62 and 73, blocks 11 and 13, Makuri township, for a term of five years. The lessees of sections 62 and 65, Nireaha Village Settlement, are to be called upon to show cause why their sections should nofe be forfeited, they having failed to remove ragwort from their holdings.. It was decided to forfeit the lessees' interest in the following sections: -Section 44, Ohakune Village 'Settlement; section 2, block 13. Horopito West; section 19, block 4, Pohangina. J. Chapman, lessee of sections 15 and 28, blocks 4 and 5, Huangarua, Tawaha Settlement, asked for a rehearing of the forfeiture of his interest for non-payment of renral. Rehearing postponed until next meeting. The lessee of sections and 19, Pukeroa Village Settlement, is to be allowed to surrender his lease providing he pays the rental due; if not his interest will be declared forfeited and steps will be taken to recover payment of the amount due. H. Hunter is to be offered a temporary lease on special terms of section 28/ block 11. Mt Cerberus, at a rentel to be determined by the Commissioner.
