Miss Eva Hood, A.T.C.L., announces that she will resume teaching at her residence, Worksop road, on Tuesday, February Ist. Miss Hood will be at home to receive pupils on Monday afternoon.

The attractions will be novel, and amusing and a grand open-air concert will beheld in the evening. The Fete will be open from 2 till 5 p.m., and from 7 till 10 p.m.

One of the most interesting of missionary speakers is paying the Y.M.C.A. a visit to-morrow afternoon at o o'clock. The Rev. W. Slade, during his seventeen years as a missionary among the Fijians, gathered together sufficient matter dealing with the custom's and the mythology of the people to put into many fair sized volumes. He has a most interesting way of telling a story. He captivates his hearers, and a treat is in store for those who care to be in time at the Y.M.C.A. to-morrow.

Mr P. Hamlll's great bargain bale is still proceeding. Special bargins will be offered to-day in the showroom. In the Manchester«department all towels, linens, sheetings, blankets, quilts, etc , etc., will be offered at nearly cost price. Prices will also be lowered very considerably in the dress department, fancy department, and clothing and mercery departments. Mr Hamill does not consider cost when he is holding a salH.
