A POWERFUL PAIR.
One of the most powerful evangelists'of the present day is Dr John Quincey Adams Henry, of America. He recently concluded a several years' engagement in England during which he crowded the biggest building that could be obtained. He is an orator of a very high older, and speaks with great intensity, tie has a passion for the highest well being of men, sind has remarkable success in dealing with them.
Aaccompanied by Professor Bilhorn, an excllent musician who will | take charge of the musical arrangements, Dr Henry is to reach New Zealand early in April, and will conduct missions in the principal centres. It is quite possible that these distineuishtd men may be induced to visit Masterton. With a view to securing this, a meeting of church officials and all Christian workers who are interested in sane evangelism is to be held in K.nox Church next Tuesday evening, at 7.30 o'clock. At this meeting there will be brief and bright devotional exercises, Bnd the conditions of a mission set forth; and if possible a United Evangelistic Committee set up.
