THE HAWKE'S BAY MEETING. TEAMS MATCH WuN BY OPaRI. \ By Telegraph—Press Association. NAPIER, January 27. The second annual shoot of the Hawke's Bay Rifle Association for tbe Collins Shield, and other competitions for money prizes, took place at Roy's Hill, near Hastings, to-day. Ihere was an entry of eighty competitors. The lighl was good, and the wind increased slightly as 'the day wore on. The Collins Shield, seven shots at 200, 500 and 600 yds, was won by the Opaki Rifle Club, with a score of 476 points. The other scores were pier Rifles 472, Napier Guards 465, Ohura Rifle Club 451, Darinevirke Rifle* 450, Ranfurly Rifles 4'49, Hawke's Bay Mounted Rifles 440, Taradale Rifle Club 435. The following are the leading scores in the Hastings Match, seven shots at 200, 500 and 600 yards:— Sergeant James, Napiei, £2 10s, 99; Colour-Sergeant Grindell, Napier, £2, 97; Trooper G. Tong, Hastings, £1 Is, 95; Lieut. Neilsen, Dannevirke, £l, 95; Sergt. Humphreys, Hastings, £1,95; Rifleman W. G. Franklin, Weber, £.l 94; Rifleman J. Jarvis, Taradale, £l, 94; Rifleman L. Loveday, Ohura, 10s, 94. Shooting will be continued to-mor-row.
