By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, January 26. The iollowing is Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast The weather has been very warm and humid everywhere. The barometer has risen and fallen again, especially in the South. Westerly winds have prevailed except on the East Coast, and increased this afternoon to a pale in Fovpaux Strait and on the West Coast of the South Island. The present indications are for the passage of a smart westerly disturbance south of New Plymouth and Napier. A westerly gale is probable with rain, strong westerlies and changeable weather, and possibly electrical disturbances further North.
