THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
On Wednesday night the. great Othello programme was presented for the last time to a crowded house. Again Sexton Blake and his dog came in for unstinted applause. Once more "The Doctor," "How the Cook I Got Married," "An American Marriage," and other high-grade comics brought forth roars of laughter. Lovers of scenes o£ other lands were delighted with "Agra in . Bengal" and the final scene m this picture, the great Pearl Mosque, is one of the finest scenes ever screened. "Othello" was, of course, the star picture, and the dresses and scenery for the art film must have cost a small fortune. The coloring, too, was superb and harmonious. This evening a great Wild West picture, "Mexican Bill," will delight all lovers of cowboy lore. The programme includes a very fine Palhe-color film entitled "The Legand of Orpheus." "The Electric Street Pan" is a very funny film, a patrons are promised a pictorial ( feast in this evening's programme.
