PERSONAL.
Dr. Hugh Douglas, of Hamilton, is at present on a visit to Masterton. Mr W. C. Cargill, formerly of Masterton, and now of Stratford, is on a visit to this town. Adjutant Greene, of the Masterton staff of the Salvation Army, is to be transferred to Petone. The friends of Mrs C. J. Leggatt will be pleased to learn that she is now making rapid progress towards recovery from her serious illness. Mr and Mrs Cock burn-Hood- of Glendonald, who have been on an extended trio to the Old Country, arrived in Wellington by the Sydney boat yesterday.
