From Our Own Correspondent. January 17. - There was a large congregation present yesterday, at the Anglican Church, to witness the dedication service in connection with the new bell, given by Mrs Andrew to- the memory of her late husband, the Rev. J. C. Andrew. The ceremony was performed by Archdeacon Fancourt, of Wellington, who was assisted by the Rev. J. Phillips, vicar of Tenui. Stock buyers are busy purchasing stock in the distr'ct, and it is a daily occurrence to see sheep and cattle travelling through the township. and all in good condition.
