FIRE AT BLENHEIM.

By Telegraph—Press Association.' BLENHEIM, January 17. A fire at 2.30 this morning totally destroyed a nine-roomed house in Stephenson Street, owned by Mrs Macey, and occupied by Mr George Weldon. There was only Mr Weldon at home at the time, his wife and children being away. Nothing was saved, Mr Welion having to escape through the window. The insurances were—On the building, £4OO in the Standard office, and on the furniture £1,500 in the North British. Mr Weldon estimates his loss at £2OO.
