EARLY CLOSING.
If our tradespeople, instead of working until six o'clock in the evening, as they do now, had their business so ordered that they could close at five o'clock after a full day's work, it would surely be better for employer and employed, says the "Hawera Star." It is perhaps not too much to hope that many who now take their relaxation by night-light would feel more disposed towards the "early to bed" motto if they were afforded a daylight opportunity to resreate.
