(By Telegraph—Special to the Age). JOHNSONVILLE, January 12. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on tbeir Johnsonville sale as follows:—We offered a good yarding of sheep and cattle, which sold at late rates. Best bullocks realised £8 5s to £8 7s 6d, lighter £8; good wethers, 12s 6d; ewes, 9s to 9s 6d; prime lambs, 10s 3d to 10s 6d; medium, 9s 9d, plain 9s; porkers, 21s to 275.

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—AL our opening sale of the year, at Pahiatua on Tuesday, we had a very good yarding of both sheep and cattle. Competition for all classes ot stock was not keen, owing no doubt partly to the threatened strike of the Freezing Company's slaughtermen. We, however, managed to dispose ol the bulk of the yarding:—Two-tooth ewes, small lis 6d; 4, 6 and s.m. ewes, lis 6d; s.m. ewes. 10s 3d; tat ewes, 8s 10d; woolly aged ewes, 8s to 9s 6d; 2tooth wethers, 9s; 3-year steers, £4 7s 6d*; weaner steers, 23s 6d; fat cows, £3 17s 6d to £4 ss; forward cows, £3 2s to £3 15s; store cows, £2 7s 6d to £2 15s; springing heifers, £2 10s to £4; cows in milk, £sto£6;cowß and calves, £3 7s 6d to £3 17s 6d; heifers in calf, £3 7s 6d; empty heifers, £2 18s to £3 3s; bulls, £2 15s to £3 10s; unbroken horses, £2 to £6 7s 6d.

Messrs Dalgety and Co. report on their Masterton sale held yesterday, as follows:—There was a good yarding of sheep and a lair yarding of cattle. Sheep met with rather a dragging sale, no doubt owing to the dry spell of weather which has lately been prevailing 1 . We quote as follows:—Sheep: Two-tooth wethers, small, 8s 9d; medium lambs, 5s fid; fat ewes, 9s to 9s 6d; aged ewes, 5s 6d to 7s 6d; full-mouth ewes, medium, 6s 7d. Cattle: We yarded two good pens of 18-month steers and heifers on account of Messrs Barton Bros. We also had some fair cow beef; 18-month steers, £3 ss; fat cows, up to £5 15s; 2-year steers, £3 10s to £3 15s; dairy cows up to £4 os.
