DISCOVERED AT LISBON.
FORTY ARRESTS MADE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright Received January 12, 8.30 a.m. LISBON. January 11. The newspaper "Imparcial" Btates that a Republican plot against King Manuel has been discovered. Forty arrests have been made. The sentries guarding the Palace of the Necessidades fired several shots at suspects yesterday evening. ~ Excitement prevails at Lisbon.
